April Sunday Style

Today I have put together a very relaxed outfit. It's April, and it's spring, so I have put away all my heavy knits and big coats and brought out the lighter colours. I believe spring is about pastels and whites. That's all I want to wear for the next couple of months.

I fell in love with this sweater when I saw it. I don't normally wear much pink, but I like the colour on this one, and the words are beautiful. I put it together with a pair of jeans and some white trainers. I'm all about being comfy.

June Sunday Style

It's summer! I can not begin to tell you how happy I am that the sun is out in full force. It means I can eat ice cream daily, have walks in the evenings and just generally be content. There's nothing like warm weather to lift the spirits. It also means I can wear cute clothes.

This month I have bought a couple of crop tops. I have never been a crop top wearer before, but this month I'm really loving them. This one from Topshop in particular is great. I just love the cute little flower hem. They're also good for when I want to wear something light like I did today. It's a great option for such a hot day.

April Sunday Style

April is the time of the year when the weather can go either way. The sun will be shining bright one moment before suddenly peeking behind dark clouds. You don't know whether to go outside in t-shirt or a jacket. Though, in Britain any flirtation of sun means the majority of people will be inclined to venture out in shorts and a t-shirt. I can guarantee that is not the appropriate temperature to go that far yet.

This month I am rocking my jacket and my fabulous new hat from Topshop. (Do you ever hear a word and then put it into a sentence? Because that's totally what happened there) As it gets warmer I just want to wear more and more dresses and skirts ready for summer! So that's what I was going for with this look. Something practical and warm enough for the April rain, but still looking ready for summer to begin.
