March Favourites

March is almost over and it's gone so quickly. I can't believe we're three months into 2015 already!

It's been a good month though. Not only has the weather began to pick up , but it's meant I can start going out on walks. I love hiking through the countryside. Though the picture in my header was from a walk that didn't turn out so well! We got caught up in the rain, so we ended up having to head back halfway into the walk.

One of the best things in March was Comic Relief. This year, I decided to volunteer by taking calls for donations. I've never worked in a call centre before, but it was oddly fun, and it was great to be doing something for a good cause. Sadly, I didn't take many donations.

Though all this I have enjoyed beautifying myself and watching some many shows. Here are some things I've loved.

Favourite make-up

This month I went to repurchase the Urban Decay De-Slick setting spray, and whilst I was there I decided to try the De-Slick Setting Powder. It's a translucent power but has the added selling point of having white rice, which helps mattify the face. It's a little bit pricey, but I love they way it looks. Especially as I don't find it cakey at all.

I also received the Benefit Roller Last this month in my Birchbox, and it has quickly dropped into my everyday make-up. I wrote about what I thought about it here. I may even like it more than the Real Lash mascara.

Finally, I have also loved the Illamasqua Skin Base Lift. Not only does is it an under eye concealer, but it also has corrector properties. Just wearing this alone brightens my eyes so much.

Favourite skincare

The moisturiser I have been using the most lately is the No7 Beautiful Skin Day Cream. I've actually been using it for some time, but it's become my favourite moisturiser. It sinks into my skin easily and leaves it feeling soft without any stickiness. It also has added SPF with is always a bonus!

I am also loving the Soap & Glory Heel Genius Foot Cream. I have started using it again this month to get my feet looking great and feeling soft for when I start wearing sandals again, and it does the job. My feet are feeling so much better!

Favourite Television

I have two favourite television this month. The first is, without a doubt, Parks and Recreation. I've always struggled to get through the first season, but my friend kept telling me to persevere, and I did. I ended up binge watching the entire thing. It is so well written with such amazing characters. Why did I not watch this sooner?!

The second is the Netflix original, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. Once again I binged watch the show. It's very quirky and very entertaining and it's acted so well. If you haven't watched it yet, you really should.

Favourite music

I have been on a bit of a Ed Sheeran kick this month, and I really love Thinking Out Loud. It's such a beautiful song. I can't help but sing along to it!

One year on; best Birch Box discoveries

I have now officially received twelve Birch Boxes, and so March marks my one year Birch Box anniversary! To celebrate, I decided to take a look over what I have received throughout the year to see what my favourite discoveries have been.

Some products I have gone out and bought full size, some I plan on doing getting in future, and others I use in my everyday routine. I have liked a lot of the products in my boxes, but these are ones that have made such an impact on me that I want to rave about them.

So without further ado, let me introduce you to the products I've loved.

My first box back in March last year was a great introduction to what Birch Box was all about, and I fell in love with two products immediately; one of which I still continue to buy today. These were the Molton Brown replenishing hand cream  and the English Laundry perfume. The hand cream not only smells gorgeous, but helps my hands feel so soft, and the perfume is just the perfect scent for spring. Birch Box is also where I discovered my favourite mascara of all time; Benefit They're Real. I love how much definition it gives to my lashes, and it lasts throughout the day.

I have found some great skincare products. In the April box, I discovered the Yes to Cucumber face wipes, which are great at get rid of daily dirt without being too harsh. I like to use them when I need to refresh my face. I was introduced to the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser the month after, which is great for not only removing all make-up but gently exfoliating too. I have liked giving my face a deeper cleanse with the Cattier clay face mask. I really loved how my face felt after using it.

One of my favourite products from all the boxes I received was the Pixi lip balm which I still use every day. It has shea butter to soften the lips, and then a hint of colour! The October box was a great box, as it also introduced me to The Cool Fix, which is perfect to use after shaving the legs to get rid of any irritation.

I have received a number of nail polishes in the boxes and there have been a couple of particular stand-outs. These were the OPI Thrill of Brazil and the Model's Own Nail Polish is Amethyst, which are both sparkly and such gorgeous shades, they are so hard to resist!

One of the new, exciting brands I have discovered over the year is TheBalm. The aesthetic of their packaging is really quirky, and I love the quality of their products. They are a brand I really want to try more from, and I already have my eye on a few of their other products.

There have been some great lifestyle products throughout the year. My favourites are usually the food! Back in April I discovered Proper Corn which is a very delicious way to eat popcorn as they have such great flavours. I particularly love the very tasty vanilla and coconut flavour. I have also received Urban Fruit and most recently Chia oats, which is a healthy way to have breakfast.

Have you tried any of these products? what do you think?

Goodbye, 2014...

So 2014 is officially over, and we are beginning our journey into 2015. Before I get down into my goals and resolutions for 2015, I wanted to take a quick look over the best bits of 2014.

2014 has been a decent year for me. Naturally, it has had its ups and downs, but sitting here and reflecting all the things I have done, I think the year has been more in the way of ups for me.

2014 was the year I got into all things make-up and beauty, and has meant that this blog exists as as it is today. As I said in my previous post, I don't know what changed towards my view on make-up, but I am glad it did, as I've really enjoyed looking at and trying out new products and new looks, and then writing about them. I have enjoyed keeping a blog too (even if it has been a struggle sometimes with working full time), and I have found that it is starting to help me with being creative, something which my job doesn't really allow me to be. I hoping to step up my game in 2015.

In other areas of my life, there have been a lot of great happenings in 2014. I spent an amazing week taking part in activities in Holland, like canoeing, cycling and visiting theme parks. I took some exciting trips down to London, in which I visited the Sherlock Holmes museum, had a fun and informative Illamasqua make-up course as well as doing lots of shopping along Oxford Street, of course.

I saw some amazing plays, not least the Matilda musical which is brilliant, and everyone needs to see! I saw Matthew Bourne's Swan Lake for the first time in about 15 years, and it is still as wonderful asI remembered. I also saw stand-up comedian Dave Gorman live, and met him afterwards. It was an incredibly funny evening.

As well as all this, it seemed to be a year of extra-curricular activities. I spent a lot of my time learning to dive and I passed my theory test. I even took up fencing which has been a lot of fun and I have met some truly wonderful people because of it. I cemented a few friendships this year, but also seemed to grow further apart from others.

Because I love film and television I wanted to take a moment to point out some of the best of 2014.

I am undecided on my favourite film as there were some really fantastic ones; but I think Pride wins out because it is just so witty and poignant. It is most definitely worth a watch. Wes Anderson's wonderful Grand Budapest Hotel is a close second, and honourable mentions go to Guardians Of the Galaxy and The Lego Movie for just being a lot of fun.

One of of my favourite new televisions shows of 2014 was Inside Number 9 which was a little disturbing in places (what more would you expect from two of the creators of The League Of Gentlemen?) but incredibly well written. I also really enjoyed The Musketeers (the second series starts tomorrow!) and I have to mention The Great British Bake-Off and The Apprentice as being really good reality TV. Other honourable mentions are Moone Boy and Only Connect as they are both brilliant.

What are your best bits of 2014?

November Favourites

The dark nights and a busy schedule have been working against me and my blogging. The window for taking pictures is very limited, especially with having a full time job, so as you can see it's all meant I've been quite quiet here.

But November has been a busy month in itself. One of the best moments was spending a day down in London, where I went shopping along Oxford Street and had my first make-up course at Illamasqua, which was a really great experience. It was also the month of my birthday, but only small celebrations were had. I did go out for tapas, which I always find delicious (calamari anyone?).

There was also a lot of other great things in November:

Favourite Beauty

In the October Birch Box I received this Pixi lip balm and I have not stopped using it since. It's made using shea butter, so it feels so soft and smooth on my lips. It also gives a little bit of colour to my lips. It's great for the cold days. I'm sure I shall be using it all winter.

I have also renewed my love for the L'Oreal True Match Foundation. Now it is colder, I can wear it without it slipping off my face during the day. I really love the foundation. The shade works well with my skin, and I love the look it creates.

Favourite Skincare

Molton Brown hand creams were another product I discovered through Birch Box. I just had to buy a full size. They're a bit pricey at £10, but they are so worth it. They're not sticky at all, and sink in easily to the skin. This one in rhubarb and rose, smells absolutely delicious.

I have also been using the No.7 eye make-up remover. What really caught my eye about this was how it is two-toned. You shake it up to mix the clear and blue liquids, and then use it from there. My eyes are quite sensitive, but this doesn't irritate them at all and gets rid of all my eye-make-up, including tough mascara!

Favourite Book

November is my birthday month, and my sister got me the Bobbi Brown Everything Eyes book as a gift. I generally don't use much on my eyes, so it's a nifty little book to help me with making my eyes look great. There's quite a lot about glasses, which I don't wear (I wish I did), but there is enough of other great stuff that it's a very useful book.

Favourite Television

This month I have been loving The Apprentice. It is one of my reality TV guilty pleasures, but it is a lot of fun to watch. There's been so many spats this year, and a number of happenings I've been annoyed at. Now we've got quite far through, I'm rooting for Solomon (possibly because he's good, looking but he is a good candidate too) and Katie (because she's brilliant).

Favourite Music

I'll admit it, I have been listening to lots of Tinie Tempah again.

October Favourites

I can not believe it is now November. I seem to say this every month, but the year is going so quickly.

October has been quite quiet for me in terms of this blog, but my life has been quite busy. I have began fencing, there was a fair in Nottingham, and work has been very crazy. This last week I took a trip down to London to meet a friend, where we went for sushi. Saying that though, there's a lot to look forward to in November (my birthday for one), but here are my October highlights.

Favourite make-up

This month I have found a renewed love for my rockateur blush. It's just a beautiful rose gold shade and looks great on my cheeks. I think it looks great for autumn.

I also enjoy using the Maybelline Eye Eraser. It's good to use if I'm going minimal on my make-up and just want to brighten up my eyes, as well as using it as a concealer over my foundation.

Favourite beauty

I am quite late to the party, but in October I picked up the 'Mint Julips' Lip Scrub from Lush. It smells and tastes delicious, and keeps my lips feeling really soft. I love it.

I have also been using the Dove Dry Shampoo this month and it's great. I think it's definitely my new dry shampoo of choice. It barely leaves any residue on my hair and smells great.

Favourite candle

A Yankee Candle store has recently opened up in Nottingham, and I picked up this spooky holder and candle, in the scent Ghostly Treats, which were perfect for Halloween. I have had this lit for the last week of October in time for Halloween and it's given such a lovely scent to my room. But now Halloween is over, I can start on the Christmas candles.

Favourite gadget

I am pretty much completely in love with my Chrome Cast. It is such a great gadget. It's just a usb sized dongle, which you plug in into the back of your television. Then using your phone, tablet or laptop you can cast such things as Netflix or IPlayer onto your television. It is brilliant. As someone who would watch a lot of things on my laptop, it's great to be able to put it on my TV and be able to work and watch things at the same time.

Favourite tea

In my trip down to London this month I visited the Twinings shop, which I have been wanting to visit for a long time. I was pretty much like a child in a sweet shop. The best thing I bought was this beautiful tea caddy. There were samples to add into the box like a tea pick 'n' mix. Tea-wise I have been in love with the Twining Camomile and Spiced Apple tea. It is perfect for this time of the year and, and as well as being very delicious, it is also relaxing. I love drinking it in an evening to relax before going to bed.

Favourite television

I know I'm about 9 years behind, but this month I have really been enjoying the US version of The Office. I have pretty much been binge watching it and already I am halfway through series 4. It is incredibly hilarious.

Music

I have been listening to a lot of music this month. I use Google Music All Access, and now and then I like to listen to the songs it picks for me. This is where I discovered Florrie's Summer Nights. I really love this song. It's really upbeat and great to bop to.

September Favourites

I know it's incredibly late, and we're well into October now, but I really wanted to get my September favourites in, as there were some great things I enjoyed. I might post a few extra times this month to make up for my absence.

You may be wondering where I have been. I've simply been too busy. I picked up some extra-curricular activities in September, including a beginners course in fencing, which I love. I've also spent the last few weeks studying for my car theory test, which took up all my time. Now that's over I can concentrate on my blog again (I passed by the way!).

I've not had the light to take pictures of my favourite make-up, and beingconcious that this is already very late, here are my multimedia favourites.

Film

I didn't think I would have a film in September. I saw a couple, but they weren't brilliant. Then on the last day I went to the cinema with my sister to see Pride. I was blown away by it completely. It's based on a true story, set in the midst of the mining strikes in Britain. A group in the gay community decide to begin raising money for the strikers, What follows is a wonderful story of camaraderie and adversity. It's brilliantly paced, very witty and perfectly cast. I love it so much I've seen it again since. Cannot. Recommend. Enough.

Television

The best television without a doubt has got to be Great British Bake Off. I, like many other people, am in love with this show. I chose this clip of Mel and Sue as I don't think it could be the same without them. They're just so funny and caring. If you've never seen it (and I don't know why you wouldn't have) a group of amateur bakers get pitched against each other each week, in a number of challenges to become Star Baker. But one must be eliminated. All the bakers are just so nice, and it's so lovely to see what they bake. Already, I am longing to make some bread soon.

Music

Since watching Pride, I have once again been hit by the 80's bug, and this song in Pride is the best. It's so catchy and danceable! I love that 80's sound. Somehow the video being cheesy and typically 80s is a plus!

I'll be back with more posts soon!

August Favourites

Here it is again; the end of another month. August has gone so quickly, it's just been a blur!

It's not been a bad month, but it has been tiring. I spent much of the beginning exhausted and feeling incredibly unmotivated. I think I got some post-holiday blues, and I had some serious life thinking to do when I got back. I don't think I'm fully sorted, but I feel much better than I did.

But once the blues had subsided, I ended up doing some good things, even if we've not really had the weather for it. I had a lovely picnic with my friends last week. It's always fantastic to spend time with good company, and many of them I don't get to see as much as I'd like. I also spent a day out in London, having the opportunity to see the wonderful Mat Baynton in Holes, which was a bit of an odd play, as well as visiting Bodeans for some delicious BBQ food.

One of the other highlights of my month was going to the cinema to see Peter Capaldi's first episode of Doctor Who, along with many other fans.

But enough of what I've been up to, here are the things I've been loving this month

Beauty

As mentioned in my last post I am loving my new Essie polish. The colour is called Naughty Nautical and is absolutely gorgeous. It's a glittering, turquoise shade and it's just beautiful. I normally only wear one colour a week, but I'm thinking of refreshing this one for longer.

I am also loving High Beam from Benefit. I love highlighters as they just brighten up your entire face. This one has beautiful shimmer to it and looks great on my cheekbones, and under the arches of my eyes when it catches the light.

My last beauty favourite this month is the Urban Decay De-slick. I bought this as I was finding my make-up melted away so quickly, and wanted a good setting spray to keep it in place for as long as possible. I really love this. I bought the travel size a couple of months ago, and it's still going strong. I find it keeps my make-up looking fresh for much longer, so it's just what I needed.

Skincare

I generally don't buy expensive showergels, and, to be honest, I usually just get what's on offer. I normally end up with something different with every purchase. This month I bought this limited edition Imperial Leather showergel in 'enchanting romance' and, oh my, it smells amazing. I was so drawn to the scent, that I may continue to repurchase it for that alone. But the showergel is pretty good too, and it keeps my skin soft. I love it.

Homeware

I love candles a lot, as they're quite atmospheric, but I do have to be in the mood to actually light one. I wanted to keep the fragrance going for longer, so I decided to buy a reed diffuser for my bedroom. I bought this Wax Lyrical one in the scent red cherries, and it smells so good. I love getting home from work, walking into my room and it smelling like cherry bakewells. It's so strong and long-lasting. I love it!

Film

There is no doubt about what this month's favourite film is. I don't normally care for a sequel to a film, as I like things to be standalone, but with Guardians Of The Galaxy I was left wanting more. It was hilarious and adventurous from start to finish. I found myself swept away with it. It's excellent and I can't recommend it enough.

Television

So before Lee Pace became an evil overlord in the film above, he was a sweet pie maker in the wonderful Pushing Daisies. It is quite simply the most adorable programme ever. I have seen the first six episodes multiple times, but never seemed to go any further. Suddenly I have found myself binging on all the episodes this last week. If you've never seen Pushing Daisies, you really must as it's such a brilliant show. It is about a pie maker who has the ability to bring the dead back to life. But there are catches. And then he finds out his childhood sweetheart has died... I'll let the trailer explain it better.

Music

I have been listening to a lot of random things this month. For the first time in a long time I know what some of the current hits are (or at least what they were a month or two ago).Though, this is due to only having two CDs for the entire journey to and around Holland, so a lot of songs grew on me. It's been really hard to choose one song this month. I really love Ed Sheeran's Sing, Iggy Azalea's Fancy, Charli XCX's Boom Clap but I decided to go with something slightly different and chose Sia's Chandelier. I really like Sia's music anyway, and this one has continued to be played over and over. I love the intensity of it.

July Favourites

Here we are once again at the end of another month. July has been interesting, and the weather in particular has been gorgeous. I have been enjoying it by going on bike rides and having Barbecues. It's been a great month. To top it off, as you read this I will be abroad. Hopefully I will have more on that later, but for now, here are my favourite things for July.

Favourite make-up

This month I have adored using the Clinique Cheek Pop. I have used it constantly since I bought it. It really does give a wonderful colour to my cheeks. love the formula as it goes on so well. It's such a brilliant blush, and it is perfect for summer.

Favourite skincare

I purchased a new moisturiser this month. The Soap & Glory The Fab Pore, which I've fallen in love with. I use it as part of my morning routine. It's a light moisturiser and just sinks in brilliantly. I really love it.

The other thing I have adored this month is the Boots Soltan Once Sun Cream. This claims to last 8 hours and it really does. I spent an entire day in the sun with only putting one application on and I didn't get burnt at all. I was pretty amazed. Because of that, this has become my favourite sun cream.

Favourite Film

I hadn't watched any films this month until I watched Wes Anderson's The Grand Budapest Hotel and fell in love immediately. It is such a quirky and brilliant film. It tells the story of the 'adventures of Gustave H, a legendary concierge at a famous hotel between the wars, and Zero Moustafa, the lobby boy, who becomes his most trusted friend'. It stars a lot of the usual Wes Anderson actors, and Ralph Fiennes in particular is absolutely brilliant. It was a very funny film and I honestly cannot recommend it enough

Favourite Television

This month E4 finally finished How I Met Your Mother. I am aware that everyone knows who the mother is now and the ending to the story, I've finally caught up. It's been an enjoyable series and strong series, and I'm quite sad to see it end.

Favourite Music

My friend introduced me to Postmodern Jukebox a few weeks back and they are amazing. Basically they do covers of popular modern day songs in a vintage style. Take a listen and fall in love.

June Favourites

Whoah, I can't believe it's time again to write another favourites post. June has passed by so quickly.

It's been a good month. The weather has been gorgeous, which has meant the barbecues have come out and I've taken long strolls along the canal. It's been beautiful. There was even a lovely moment this month where we took a projector outside one evening and watched Frozen in the garden.

In June I tried out some new restaurants that opened in Nottingham, and I even had a night out at a casino. I'm really not a casino-person, and only really stayed for learning how to play roulette and blackjack. It was a really fun night though.

I'm hoping for July to be a further wonderful month. I have a lot planned, and I don't actually think I have a Saturday free. I'm definitely working towards making this an excellent summer.

But before we jump into July here is what I loved about June.

Favourite make-up

This month I have particularly been loving Benefit's Watt's Up. It is a beautiful highlighter and I love using it on my cheekbones every morning to give me a gorgeous glow. I think it looks great when it catches the light and it really brightens up my face. I absolutely love it. I may do a full post on it sometime soon.

Favourite skincare

In June I've really defined my skincare, and tried to get down to a really effective routine. I have been using the steam cream ever since I bought it. I wrote about it here. I just love how it easily it sinks into the skin and how soft it makes my face feel. It's quickly become a staple of my regime. It's helps that the packaging is so pretty too!

Favourite film

I didn't watch many films this month but I did enjoy The Way, Way Back. It stars Steve Carell, Toni Collette and Sam Rockwell. It's a typical coming of age film about a reclusive boy who's mum is dating a man he doesn't get along with. He is taken of holiday with them for the summer, but ends up meeting someone changing his world. I love Sam Rockwell, but the best thing about the film was seeing Steve Carell in a much darker role than the ones he usually plays.

Favourite Television

The television I have been enjoying this month is Mr. Sloane. Set in the 60's, it is about a struggling man who has separated from his wife, been fired from his job but gets a new spark into his life when he meets a young American. Alongside Nick Frost, it starts Peter Serafinowicz and the always wonderful Olivia Coleman (anyone who watched Horrible Histories will also recognise Lawry Lewin). It's been a very enjoyable comedy. Great for a Friday night.

Favourite music

The other month I saw Imelda May on the Graham Norton Show, and I really loved the performance. Ever since I have been listening to her. I particularly love this song. It's a great one to get dancing to.

May Favourites

We've once again reached the time of the month to look back at my favourites.

May has been a good month. The weather has fluctuated drastically from very hot weather to being cold and raining in May. But it's been great to finally have some heat and to be able to wear shorts and eat ice cream.

I spent a few days in London this month. The highlight of that was seeing the hilarious Jeeves and Wooster starring Robert Webb. I also spent some time this month cycling in the sun and goes on zip wires.

So without further ado, here are my favourites parts of May.

Favourite Makeup:

I bought quite a lot of make-up this month but my favourite has to be the Bobbi Brown sheer lip colour. Mine is in the shade Tutu, and I absolutely love it. It glides onto the lips very well and is such a beautiful shade. I use this one constantly, and has quickly become my go-to lip colour.

I also love the Soap & Glory One Heck Of A Blot. I use this daily and it just really helps my face stay matte all day. It's become a staple of my daily make-up routine.

Favourite Skincare:

This month I have been loving the Benefit Triple Performing Facial Emulsion which I spoke about in my last post. I absolutely love this, mostly because it's just so light that it works fantastic with having oily skin. I've really got used to using it daily.

Favourite Film:

Without a doubt the best film this month was X-Men: Days Of Future Past. I'm going to be honest; The only X-Men film I liked before this one was X2, and as someone who grew up watching the cartoons, I went into not expecting a great deal, but came out of the cinema having really enjoyed it. I cannot recommend seeing it enough.

Favourite Television:

So this is the part when I show you how dorky I am. This month I have been enjoying the great Quiz Show, Only Connect. Yep, that's right, that is my favourite TV of May. There's something wonderfully charming and addictive about Only Connect, and it helps that Victora Coren-Mitchell is very funny lady. It's not your average Quiz though. It's intelligent and takes some thinking, but it's very good.

Favourite Music:

This month I have once again been loving Autoheart. I have had their album "Punch" on continuously and "Lent" is a song I particularly adore.

April Favourites

April has gone by so quickly! It doesn't seem so long ago that I was writing my favourites for March, but here I am now at the end of April. It has been a very busy month for me as there's been a lot of work to do. But on the plus side, there has been a fair amount of indulgence in chocolate. This is the only time of the year they sell Cadbury's Cream Eggs, so I couldn't let that opportunity pass me by.

Without further ado, here are my favourite things in April. It has been a good month, so there was a lot to like. But here is a breakdown of just a few of the things I loved this month.

Favourite Beauty:

This month I am most definitely loving my Bobbi Brown correcter and concealer which you can read about here. It has quickly become a staple of my everyday routine. It is so creamy and just covers up the darkness under my eyes so well. As much as I love highstreet products, I think you have to have at least one high-end somewhere in your make-up kit.

Favourite Tea:

I've been trying to drink less caffeine in April and generally be more healthier. Of course it didn't help with the abundance of chocolate at Easter. I have tackled this by drinking my new favourite tea: Mango and Lychee Green Tea. I love mangos, and I love lychees so it was hard not to love this tea. It is so incredibly delicious and refreshing with the warmer weather.

Favourite Film:

At the end of March Frozen was released on DVD and The Muppets Most Wanted began showing at cinemas. I have tried, but I really can't decide between them. Frozen has been stuck in my DVD player and has quickly become my favourite Disney Film. A privilege that has not moved since Aladdin. I just love the story, the songs and the positive messages throughout. The Muppets Most Wanted however, is just hilarious and fun. Ty Burrell in particular is brilliant in the film and truly makes it what it is. It also includes some brilliant songs. The Interrogation Song and I'll Get You What You Want have been played repeatedly. Seriously, how could you not love The Muppets?

Favourite TV:

I've not been watching as much television as usual this month. In fact, I am even still behind on Game Of Thrones but catching up slowly. Despite this there has been one show I have been watching the most. My favourite show this month has to be Modern Family. Sky 1 is still airing series 5 and has been showing it in double bills. I absolutely love Modern Family, as it's just so funny. There are not many other shows that will make me laugh out loud.

Favourite Music:

This month I have been on a Tinie Tempah kick, and I quite like this particular song. I couldn't even say why, but you got to love a bit of Tinie, right?

March Favourites

March is over and it's already April. This year is already going so fast. But on the plus side, with the clocks going back last Sunday, we are now officially heading towards summer. But before we throw ourselves head first into April, it's time to take one last look at the best bits of March.

Personally some really good stuff happened in March, but it was an incredibly busy month. Many of the posts I wanted to write didn't happen, but I did get my first beauty box! Luckily it had some good stuff in it too. So here is my brief, mini round-up of a few of the things I loved in March. I'm sure April's favourites will be much longer!

Favourite Beauty:

In March I have being seriously loving Top Shop nail polishes. I am very much into their pastel shades, and in fact, I am currently wearing their Peaches and Cream shade as I type this. Their colours are gorgeous and I find that they dry very quickly, which is brilliant for my impatient lifestyle.

Favourite TV:

There was some excellent television in March, and it was hard to choose. But the TV I really got into last month was Chris O'Dowd's incredibly charming Moone Boy. It tells the story of a boy and his imaginary friend growing up in 90's Ireland. It is such an hilarious show. It has some brilliantly, clever moments. I cannot recommend it enough. Now, I really need to find out how to get one of those hats.

Favourite Music:The song I have been listening to over and over in March is the incredibly catchy 'Beat The Love' by Autoheart. It's such a great song which I urge you to listen to. There's not much more I can say. You will understand why it is on this list once you hear it.
